Dr. Matthew Murray is a specialist that is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Murray is committed to high quality compassionate surgical care and offers services to Chico and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Murray completed his undergraduate education at Pacific Union College. He then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2006. He continued on to the combined MD/OMFS program at Loma Linda University in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and completed the six year combined residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2012. As part of his medical training, he completed an internship in General Surgery as well as receiving training in Plastic Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. He then successfully completed the examination for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
After finishing his OMFS residency, he worked for several years in private practice. He continued his education with a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery that is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He then passed further oral and written examinations and is Board Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery as well. Dr. Murray is the only doctor in Chico to hold both dental and medical degrees.
