Dr. Donald Mansell graduated from Columbia Union College in 1975. He then earned his M.D. from Universidad de Montemorelos in 1980, and completed his fifth pathway in 1981 at Loma Linda University at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Mansell completed his internship in 1982 and residency 1984 at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He then completed gastroenterology fellowship in 1986 from Loma Linda University Medical Center. During his training, Dr. Mansell achieved many honors to include graduating first in his 1980 class of medicine and VP and President of the University of Montemorelos Medical School Alumni Association. He is licensed to practice in California, and Texas. Dr. Mansell is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. During his professional career, he has given numerous lectures and has published a few articles.

Dr. Mansell is fluent in both English and Spanish. He belongs to numerous professional organizations to include: Butte Glenn Medical Society, California Medical Association, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
